This song tells the story of one being betrayed; their response to the hurt and trauma and also their resolution in their choice to respond and react.
"We all know the feeling of being hurt- being pushed to our limits. There is only so much that one can take before they break.

Those who choose to do the hurting often take one's actions or lack thereof as a sign of weakness. This song is for those who are being hurt. It's a declaration of self control and mercy that the victim is choosing to show their aggressor.
